How do I use the Monitor feature in the XbotGo app?

• The Monitor feature lets you use one phone to monitor the camera view of another in real time.

  Requirements:

  • Two smartphones (Android or iPhone) – referred to as Device A (recording) and Device B (monitoring)

  • XbotGo app version: Android 2.8.2+ / iOS 3.8.0+

  • Both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot (Some phones can only turn on its hotspot with mobile data)

  Setup Instructions:

  ▶️ On Device A (Recording Device):

  1. Open the XbotGo app and enter shooting mode

  2. Tap the ‘Enable Monitoring’ icon in the top-right corner

  3. Allow Local Network Access permission when prompted

  ▶️ On Device B (Monitoring Device):

  1. Open the XbotGo app and tap ‘Start Monitoring’ from the homepage

  2. Allow Local Network Access permission

  3. Select Device A from the available list of recording devices

  4. Enter the monitoring interface
