Follow Me Mode is designed to track a single person in simple scenarios, such as yoga, fitness, or solo basketball training. For the best tracking performance, we recommend using it in environments with three or fewer people.
XbotGo Falcon
⚠️Falcon’s Follow Me mode requires upgrading the firmware to version 3.1.5 or later before it can be used.
1. Enable Follow Me Mode:
Select “Follow Me 1.0” from the mode options.
2. Adjust the Camera View
Follow Me 1.0 on the Falcon supports manual zoom from 1.0× to 3.0×. You can adjust the zoom level by tapping the zoom options or pinching the screen to zoom in or out.
The zoom can be adjusted:
- Before recording starts
- While recording is in progress
3. Select the Person to Track
Tap the person you want the Falcon to follow. Once the target is successfully selected, a green box will appear around the person to indicate they are locked for tracking.
4. Start Recording
Tap the Record button to begin recording.
5. Gesture Control
During recording, the tracked person can use the OK gesture (👌) to:
- Lock onto themselves
- Unlock (cancel) the current tracking target.
Note: Gesture control only affects the tracking lock status.
⚠️ Note:
- Unlike the XbotGo Chameleon, the OK gesture on the XbotGo Falcon only locks/unlocks tracking and does not start/end recording, so recording must be started manually.
-
Follow Me mode on the Falcon only supports recording at 2.7K/30fps.
