There are two ways to use the scoreboard feature:
1. From the Monitor Device
Steps:
- Open your monitor device.
Tap the Scoreboard icon.
The scoreboard control interface will appear.
Tap the Settings icon to customize:
- Match title
Home & Away team name and color
**Match titles and team names now support up to 20 characters.
You can also tap the downward arrow to minimize the control panel. To reopen it, simply tap the scoreboard again.
2. From Another Device’s Browser
Steps:
On the XbotGo Chameleon recording interface, tap the scoreboard icon. A QR code and copy link option will appear, allowing you to scan or copy the link and open the scoreboard controls in any other device’s browser.
** For the XbotGo Falcon, the QR code and link are also available on the monitor device within the Scoreboard Settings page.
**For the XbotGo Gimbal, the scoreboard feature can only be accessed through the Monitor device. Access via another device’s browser is not supported at this time.
You can now adjust the scoreboard settings directly from another device’s browser without using the XbotGo App.

For Ice Hockey, it would be nice to be able to have the timer count down from a set number of minutes, as opposed to counting up. Possible feature enhancement?
Re: Arm M: Yes, this feature will be supported.
Hi Team
Very nice feature with the score board, with team name and colour, that is great.
A wish from me would be, if it could be be possible to start and stop the time your self while you are live streaming. In a sport like handball there can be many stop in the game and it would be greate to be able to stop the time so it is as close the the acctually game time as possible. Maybe the feature is there already, then I have just not found it yet. :-)
Re: Peter Lindener: You can achieve this by using the remote control (new version) or the monitor's “Pause” function.
Hi August, sounds great, I need to take an extra look, but is that a newly added feature, because I tried this saturday and could only start and stop the time if I stopped recording, and then the time startet from start again. 00:00.
Re: Peter Lindener: Hi Peter, if you want to enable the "Pause" function via Monitor, the app version must be iOS v3.9.0 or later, or Android v2.9.0 or later. Please refer to this article for instructions on using the Monitor feature.
How do I set the period and restart the timer for ice hockey, when using another phone as the monitor? I only seem to have options to set the game name, home/away names, and jersey colours?
Also regarding the pause button for the timer… wouldn't that also pause the recording? I want it to still record when a whistle blows, since I'm also recording in case of an on-ice call dispute; the recording itself shouldn't stop.
I would like the timer to display the actual game time (which I know of have to often update from the app, as my finger isn't as fast as the timekeeper), for parents watching. As Arm mentioned, a countdown for hockey would be great.
Re: Jeff R: Hi Jeff, thank you for the detailed feedback! 🙏 Currently, the timer can’t be restarted or reset unless the recording ends, and the pause button will pause both the recording and the timer — it’s not yet possible to pause only the timer.
Our R&D team has already received similar requests from users, and they’re working on optimizing this feature in future updates. Please stay tuned!
As a feature enhancement perhaps we could allow for Uno overlays? https://overlays.uno/home
Take the scoreboard processing completely off the XbotGo.
Re: Arm M: Thank you for your valuable suggestions. I have forwarded them to the product team.
Any updates on a fully functioning clock option for hockey instead of a clock that has nothing to do with the actually game time remaining?
Re: Kevin Phillips: Apologies, but we don’t have an update on a fully functioning clock option for hockey yet. We’re aware of this request and it’s something we’re looking into for future updates.
We are all still waiting for the hockey clock to be fully functional. We need to be able to have it allow us to do the following
These features are what will make the app much more user-friendly for us!
Re: davewoe: Hi there, thanks for your detailed feedback — we really appreciate it. We understand how important these hockey clock features are for real game use, especially the ability to control the timer independently from recording and make in-game adjustments.
We’ve shared your suggestions with our product team for review and future improvements.
Where are we at for these scoreboard/time updates? The only changes in the most recent update are the changing of colors to the teams. That change was ineffective and useless compared to the amount of requests for countdown timer and pausing the time without changing the recording/broadcasting (without turning it off, resetting or stopping)
With regards to colours, how do I choose a colour other than the 6 that are on the Scoreboard settings screen? I can't seem to find the gradient that I used to be able to access when choosing a team colour.
@jose - you can't. It was an update they did… and it's a horrible “update”. Many people are complaining about it. They would have been better off focusing on the clock feature rather than the color feature! LOL
Lol they are so close to having a complete package just can't quite get to the finish line.
Re: Jose, davewo, and Kevin Phillips: Thanks for the feedback! 🙏 We understand that some users preferred the previous gradient color options. The recent update simplified the color selection experience, but we recognize that it also reduced customization flexibility.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience, and we’re already looking at ways to improve and expand the color options in a future update. We really appreciate your feedback—it helps us make the app better!
