microSD Card Installation and Removal
The Falconās microSD (TF) card slot is located on the rear of the device.
To install the microSD card
- Open the protective cover of the microSD (TF) card slot on the rear of the device.
- Insert the microSD (TF) card in the correct direction until it clicks into place.
To remove the microSD card
- Gently push the card inward.
- Once it slightly pops out, carefully remove it.
- Securely close the protective cover of the card slot.
Important Notes
ā ļø Please note the following when using a microSD card:
- Ensure the SD card has more than 1GB of available storage space before recording. Recording cannot be started if the remaining storage space is less than 1GB.
- Do not use low-speed cards or non-microSD storage devices.
- The microSD card may become warm during use, so please handle it carefully when removing it.
- Do not remove the microSD card or power off the device while formatting, recording, deleting files, or transferring data, as this may result in data loss or device damage.
- Keep the microSD card away from liquids.
- Do not bend, drop, scratch, or touch the card contacts with metal objects or fingers.
- Do not expose the card to water, high temperatures, or direct sunlight.
Formatting the microSD Card (Recommended)
We recommend formatting the SD card in the XbotGo App before using it to ensure proper compatibility and prevent recording issues. The Falcon requires the SD card to use the exFAT file system, and formatting in the app will automatically apply the correct format.
Steps to format the SD card
- Connect your device and tap Falcon under Device Connection.
- Select Camera Storage.
- Tap Format.
- Select Format Now to complete the process.
Formatting the SD card in the app helps ensure the device can correctly read and write data, reducing the risk of recording errors, file corruption, or the SD card not being recognized.
ā ļø Reminder:
Formatting the SD card will erase all existing data on the card. Please make sure to back up any important files before proceeding.

I could not find the āCamera Storageā to complete the process of formating the microSD card. I just see my camera, then name, then presets.Ā
