The Auto Upload feature allows Falcon to automatically upload new recordings to your XbotGo Cloud while it is connected to a power source. Once enabled, there’s no need to manually transfer videos to your phone before uploading—they’ll be uploaded directly from Falcon to your cloud account.

🚀 How to Set Up Auto Upload
- Connect the Falcon you want to enable Auto Upload on to the XbotGo app.
This Falcon will be bound to your XbotGo account, and all videos stored on this Falcon will be automatically uploaded to your XbotGo Cloud account after this setup. - Go to Gallery → Cloud, then tap the Auto Upload banner to start the setup.
- Enter the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password that Falcon will use for uploading.
- Connect Falcon to a charger. The Falcon will automatically power on, connect to the configured Wi-Fi network, and begin uploading any new videos to your XbotGo Cloud account.
⚠️ Note: Auto Upload only uploads videos from the Falcon that has been configured for this feature. If you own multiple Falcon cameras, you’ll need to set up Auto Upload separately on each device.
⚙️ Auto Upload Settings
After completing the setup, tap the Settings icon to manage the following Auto Upload options:
- Auto Backup - When enabled, Falcon will automatically connect to Wi-Fi and back up your videos to XbotGo Cloud whenever it is plugged in.
- Delete Local Files After Backup - When enabled, Falcon will automatically delete local files after they have been successfully backed up to the cloud. Files that have not been backed up will not be deleted.
Wi-Fi for Uploads - Falcon can store up to 10 Wi-Fi network configurations. You can add new Wi-Fi networks or remove existing ones from this page.
Unbind Falcon: You can also unbind your Falcon from this page. Tap More Actions > Remove This Camera from This Account.
👤 Account Binding Rules
- A single XbotGo account can be bound to multiple Falcon cameras, and the same account can be logged in on multiple devices simultaneously.
- Each Falcon camera can only be bound to one XbotGo account at a time.
- Before lending or transferring your Falcon to another user, please unbind it from your account to prevent future videos from being uploaded to the wrong cloud account.
The authorization token stored on Falcon is valid for 6 months. Once it expires, simply reconnect Falcon to the XbotGo app and complete the authorization process again to continue using the Auto Upload feature.
⚠️ Notes
- Auto Upload only works while Falcon is connected to a charger.
- An active internet connection is required for uploading. Falcon will automatically connect to a configured Wi-Fi network when powered on, provided the network is available.
- Only password-protected home or standard Wi-Fi networks are supported. Networks that require web-based authentication or additional verification (such as hotel, public, or campus Wi-Fi) are not supported.
- Videos are uploaded directly from Falcon to XbotGo Cloud without passing through your phone.
Keep Falcon connected to a charger throughout the upload process. As long as the configured Wi-Fi network remains available, Falcon will continue uploading automatically.
