YouTube Livestream Guide – XbotGo Falcon

*The livestream function must be operated via the XbotGo App.*

Important Note: To live stream via YouTube, please first bind your account to your Google/YouTube account.

Account Binding Steps:

1. Go to Account Settings. 
2. Toggle on the Google option. 

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the binding process.

Important ⚠️ Before Starting a YouTube Livestream

Please confirm that your YouTube account has livestream permissions enabled before attempting to start a livestream.

Step 1: Check if Livestream Features Are Enabled

Go to: YouTube Settings → Account → Channel Status and Features → Enable Intermediate Features

Step 2: Verify Your YouTube Account Requirements

Please note the following YouTube requirements:

• New YouTube accounts must apply for livestream access at least 24 hours in advance.

• Your YouTube account must be linked to a verified phone number, as required by YouTube.

  

Step 3: What Happens if Livestream Permission Is Not Enabled?

If your account does not have livestream permissions enabled, you will not be able to start a livestream.

You may receive the following message: “Please check if you have streaming permissions on YouTube.”

Livestream Steps:

1. After connect the Falcon to XbotGo App, click the recording button. Then, select the dedicated mode and enter the monitor screen. 

      

2. Click the live icon to start the live streaming setup. 

   

3. Select “Platform Streaming”, choose YouTube, and then click “Next.” 

     

4. Customize your live by entering a title and description (optional). The app will default to using your cellular data for live streaming if you click Start Livestream directly.

     

5. To modify the livestream resolution or select a different Wi-Fi network, tap “Video & Network Settings”. 

      

6. To select other Wi-Fi network for live streaming:

   • (iPhone)

     Tap “Select Wi-Fi Network”. Choose your Wi-Fi, then enter the password. Once the screen shows “Connected  XXX”, the Wi-Fi is successfully connected.

     

   • (Andriod)
     1. Tap “Select Wi-Fi Network” > “Set Wi-Fi Network,” then choose your Wi-Fi in your phone’s system settings.
     2. Return to the app — your Wi-Fi will appear in the XbotGo app list. Select it and enter the password.

     3. Once a checkmark appears next to the Wi-Fi name, the connection is successful.

         

           

7. Go back to the Start Live Stream page and click “Start Livestream”.   

   

8. When the flame icon appears, your live stream to YouTube has successfully started.
