OBS Livestream Guide – XbotGo Falcon

Step 1: Set Up in the XbotGo App

1. After connect the Falcon to XbotGo App, click the recording button. Then, select the dedicated mode and enter the monitor screen. 

     

2. Click the live icon to start the live streaming setup.

   

3. Customize your live room by replacing the thumbnail, entering a room name and password (optional). The app will default to using your cellular data for live streaming if you click Start Livestream directly.

     

4. To modify the livestream resolution or select a different Wi-Fi network, tap “Video & Network Settings”. 

        

5. To select other Wi-Fi network for live streaming:

   1. (iPhone)

      Tap “Select Wi-Fi Network”. Choose your Wi-Fi, then enter the password. Once the screen shows “Connected  XXX”, the Wi-Fi is successfully connected.

      

   2. (Andriod)
      1. Tap “Select Wi-Fi Network” > “Set Wi-Fi Network,” then choose your Wi-Fi in your phone’s system settings.
      2. Return to the app — your Wi-Fi will appear in the XbotGo app list. Select it and enter the password.

      3. Once a checkmark appears next to the Wi-Fi name, the connection is successful.

          

            

6. Go back to the Start Live Stream page and click “Start Livestream”. 

   

7. When the flame icon appears, your live stream has successfully started, tap the Share Live button.

   

8. Select the OBS option to copy your unique streaming link.

   

Step 2: Set Up in OBS

1. Open OBS, and under the Sources tab, click the + button, select "Media Source"

   

2. Give it a name. Then click OK.

   

3. In the Properties window, untick Local File, then paste the copied stream link from the XbotGo app into the Input Bar.

   

4. You should now be able to preview the live stream content in the OBS preview window.

   

5.  Go to the Settings tab, select Stream, and configure your preferred streaming options (e.g., platform, stream key).

   

   

6. Once settings are configured, click Start Streaming to begin broadcasting.

   

   **The generated link is fixed, which means you don’t need to retrieve the sharing link again from the app next time. You can simply start the livestream directly—if OBS has already saved the record, it will automatically detect and connect to the livestream source. **
